2020 NAWCJ ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING

Due to the cancellation of the 2020 NAWCJ Judiciary College, the Annual Meeting of the membership of the NAWCJ as required by the Bylaws will not be held in person this year.  However, the election of Officers and Directors will be conducted electronically, with balloting to be open during the period from July 20, 2020 through August 15, 2020.  Ballots will be sent to members of record in good standing as of July 15, 2020.  Newly elected Officers and Directors will take office on August 19, 2020. The proposed nominees are as follows:

Officer Nominations:

The NAWCJ Nominating Committee and current Board of Directors proposes the following nominees for Officers for a one-year term commencing on August 19, 2020:

Shannon Bruno Bishop (LA) for President-elect

Sheral Keller (LA) for Secretary

Mike Alvey (KY) for Treasurer

The current President-elect, Deneise Lott (MS), will automatically ascend to the office of President on August 19, 2020.

 

Director Nominations:

The NAWCJ Nominating Committee and current Board of Directors proposes the following nominees for a two-year term on the Board of Directors commencing on August 19, 2020 and continuing through the conclusion of the 2022 Judiciary College:

The Nominating Committee and Board further proposes the following nominee for the remaining unexpired term of Shannon Bruno Bishop commencing on August 19, 2020 and continuing through the conclusion of the 2021 Judiciary College:
