Register today for the NAWCJ Judiciary College.
The date of the National Workers’ Compensation Judiciary College has been set for December 13, 14, & 15, 2021. The College will be held at The Orlando World Center Marriott, 8701 World Center Drive, Orlando, FL 32821 in conjunction with the 75th Annual Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference. A block of hotel rooms have been reserved for the Judicial College attendees at the Hilton Bonnet Creek, 14100 Bonnet Creek Resort Lane, Orlando, FL 32821. A hotel reservation can be made at the Hilton Bonnet Creek by clicking here.
Program: The program for the Judiciary College is designed to address issues uniquely related to the adjudication of workers’ compensation matters allowing participants to interact with others from different jurisdictions on issues of common concern. Although NAWCJ allows associate membership, the College is exclusively for workers’ compensation adjudicators and administrators (both at the trial and appellate levels), allowing for a free and open interchange of ideas to improve the adjudicatory process in workers’ compensation systems throughout the country, without undue influences from third parties. The Judiciary College program will also take advantage of select courses presented by the concurrent Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference held at the same location and time. For a copy of the complete program of the Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference, go to www.wci360.com.
Entertainment: Fortunately, the College is not an "all work and no play" experience. This year, on Monday night, the Conference presents Yacht Rock Revue. Nationally known for their tribute-packed performances of hits from the 70's and 80's, as well as their flamboyant costumes, the Yacht Rock Revue, who actually coined (and copyrighted) the phrase "yacht rock," now tours the country from coast to coast selling out venues nationwide while playing more than one hundred shows per year. So dust off your old sailor hat, leisure suit or sundress and prepare to party the night away. Complimentary heavy hors d’ oeuvres and beverages will be served.
Continuing Legal Education Information: Continuing legal education credits will be available to the attendees of the Judiciary College. When registering, please note the jurisdiction or association from which you seek such certification.
Hotel Information: A block of hotel rooms have been reserved for the Judicial College attendees at the Hilton Bonnet Creek, 14100 Bonnet Creek Resort Lane, Orlando, FL 32821. A hotel reservation can be made at the Hilton Bonnet Creek by clicking here.
