IAIABC-NAWCJ Judicial Program
The International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions (IAIABC) 106th Annual Convention has gone virtual! IAIABC is proudly co-hosting a two-day online judicial program with NAWCJ on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, and Thursday, September 24, 2020, during the convention’s conflict resolution week.
Day one of the IAIABC-NAWCJ Judicial Program will feature a pre-recorded multi-jurisdictional panel discussion on virtual hearings moderated by Judge Bruce Moore of Kansas, the current president of NAWCJ. Joining Judge Moore in this timely conversation are Judges Knowrasa Patrick of Washington state, Sharon Reeves of Georgia, Doug Gott of Kentucky, Sylvia Medina-Shore of Florida, and T. Scott Beck of South Carolina. The agenda for day two includes a live College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers panel on the hot national topic of presumptions.

The Workers’ Compensation Institute has scheduled a 3-day virtual event on August 17-19, 2020
WCI strives to be the premier conference where the industry can come together to learn, connect, and serve to make a positive impact. After announcing the postponement of the annual August event due to COVID-19, we worked hard to find the best platform to deliver a snapshot of the excellent content we had planned for you in 2020. While it is simply impossible to virtualize the full experience that WCI offers in person, we are excited to present a FREE three day virtual mini-educational forum featuring sessions from some of the most popular breakouts year over year!

Give Kids the World Lunch Breaks
Join us each day during the WCIvirtual event for a special lunch break session designed to raise awareness for our beloved Give Kids The World Village. Let’s gather together to learn more about the Village’s mission and plans for re-opening, virtual service projects that will be available for individual or team sign up, and how to participate in the Virtual Silent Auction that will be going on throughout the WCIvirtual event. The Cybersecurity Forum 2020 – The Threats to You, Your Company and the Economy & Complying with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Standards
The Workers’ Compensation Institute (WCI) will be co-sponsoring a forum originally scheduled as in-person breakout sessions at the Annual Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference in Orlando, Florida in August. These sessions have been rescheduled for September 16–17, 2020. Because of the importance of this, WCI elected to present the breakout sessions virtually rather than postponing them until the WC Conference in 2021. A follow up to these initial sessions will be held at the 2021 WC Conference.
Cyber attacks and data breaches are on the rise. This affects us as individuals, our companies, and is a serious national security threat to our country. Whether you are seeking a “best practices” approach to providing cybersecurity or will be required to meet the new federally mandated standards, this series of educational offerings provides a current model for responding to real cybersecurity risks that involve all aspects of our society.
